Why we are special

Features and characteristics of Vietnamese cuisine include:

1) Freshness of food: Most meats are only briefly cooked. Vegetables are eaten fresh; if they are cooked, they are boiled or only briefly stir-fried.

2) Presence of herbs and vegetables: Herbs and vegetables are essential to many Vietnamese dishes and are often abundantly used.

3) Broths or soup-based dishes are common.

4) The condiments accompanying Vietnamese meals are usually colorful and arranged in eye-pleasing manners.

It's been a while since I've been to Saigon Soul, and it seems like the restaurant got upgraded. It's beautiful on the inside, with the vaulted ceiling and a giant chandelier right in the middle. As soon as the wife and I opened the door, the waiter named Quyen greeted us and said, "welcome - seat wherever you like." The staff makes you feel welcome in the restaurant. Steven is our server; he is terrific! Very polite and provides good recommendations on the dish. I love this place and have already recommended family members to come here. You'll love it here. Thanks for reading this review. Please follow me to good places to eat and fantastic places to visit on YouTube under LEE THOEUN.

25jan2022 ~12:30 Swee and i dropped in Saigon Soul for lunch. The restaurant was nice and clean. There were a few diners. The Staff were friendly and courteous. We had the Bun Bo Hue (Beef Nooodles Soup), and the Com Tam Suom Bi Cha (Pork Chop, etc with Rice) .. A little surprised by the what seemed to be a piece of Pork in the Beef Noodles soup .. no matter, Swee loves the Pork .. Both the Bun Bo Hue, and the Com Tam Suom Bi Cha were tasty 😋😋👍

Our second time dining here. The staff is polite, and they don't interrupt your meal. The atmosphere is comforting. We always split a Bahn mi and large pho. The food is delicious and the atmosphere welcoming.

My friend and I have fairly strict diets. I figured we could go walking at Clark Lake and then eat, around 11ish. We did that, and then ordered per the menu. No speaku- Vietnamese. We had Shrimp and pork belly rolls; then he had a big salad with meat; and I had angel haired pasta with beef. The real bottom line is that the meals were healthy and nutritional. The restaurant and service was great. Love the coffee.

Their Bun Bo "Hue" is good. I wouldnt call it Bun Bo Hue since it is not the authentic Hue style Bun Bo. It's more of a Saigon style Bun Bo (less paprika, onion and garlic flavor; and more lemongrass flavor). I love it. Haven't had this style of Bun Bo around here since Vietnam. Their Pho has good flavor and aroma too. Restaurant: Clean place. Easy parking. Service could be better.
